As the Controller, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance efforts. Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
- – Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for senior management.
- – Oversee the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and financial planning.
- – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
- – Work closely with department managers to monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving strategies.
- – Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
- – Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred, or 5 Years Office Manager or Controller experience in a franchised new car dealer.
- – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
- – Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
- – Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- – Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- – Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
