As the Controller, you will be a key member of our leadership team, responsible for overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, and compliance efforts. Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
  • – Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports for senior management.
  • – Oversee the annual budgeting process, including forecasting and financial planning.
  • – Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policies.
  • – Work closely with department managers to monitor financial performance and implement cost-saving strategies.
  • – Liaise with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
  • – Provide leadership and guidance to the accounting team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work culture.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred, or 5 Years Office Manager or Controller experience in a franchised new car dealer.
  • – Minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior accounting or financial management role, preferably within the automotive industry.
  • – Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
  • – Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • – Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • – Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
